Mgr. Jana Návratová

 

Jana Návratová has worked at the Arts and Theatre Institute since 1989. Currently she is a specialist in the field of dance, second career and the topic of the status of the artist. She is also a publicist, editor, cultural manager, curator in the field of dance and movement theatre. She is a researcher on the analysis of the dance sector, author and editor of the series Czech Dance in Data. From 1992 to 2005 she was a teacher at the Duncan Centre Conservatory. From 2005 to 2010 she was editor-in-chief of the contemporary dance review Dance zone. In 2009 she founded the biennial Dance Film Festival Prague, of which she is the artistic director. Since 2005, she has been the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Dance Career Endowment Fund. She cooperates with professional and cultural media, including Czech Radio - Vltava station, Czech Television and aktuálně.cz.
