This is a book about the Czech scenographer Josef Svoboda, who died in 2002. Giorgio Ursini analyses Svoboda's life and work in a historical context in a very extensive text. In addition, the book includes an extensive inventory of all the author's scenographies and a selection of his drawings and designs.
